How to Create Neutral Lips

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Neutral/Nude lips are a classic on catwalks. They are also a great natural look in summer. Ever wanted to recreate that look?

Steps

  1. Start by ensuring your lips are completely clean of makeup and moisturized.
  2. Apply the foundation around your lip line, then gradually blend in circular motions.
  3. Wait for the foundation to be completely dry. This will take up to 5 minutes.
  4. Over the top of the foundation, apply your chosen lipstick using the pad of your index finger. Use a patting effect for even coverage.
  5. Apply a matching gloss over the lipstick if you desire.

Warnings

  • Make sure your lips are well-moisturized before starting this process. If they aren't, the lips will appear chapped and bruised .

Things You'll Need

  • A foundation two shades lighter (if possible) than your skin tone
  • A pale pink lipstick/gloss for dark skin, a peachy lipstick/gloss for medium skin, and cream lipstick/gloss for pale skin.
