Loofahs and natural sponges become slimy when used for a time with soap. Bringing them back to as good as new is simple.
Steps
- Rinse the loofah or natural sponge under a cold running water.
- Soak the loofah or sponge in a small bowl filled with 2 tablespoons of vinegar to each litre of water. Leave to soak for 2 hours.
- Remove from the bowl and shake gently to remove excess liquid.
- Set out to dry on a clean surface, such as the bathtub.
- Use again. The loofah or natural sponge should be as good as new.
Tips
